WEA currently has three positions available:

CIVIL ENGINEER

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design, regulatory design requirements, CAD design, project bidding and construction contract administration. Specific requirements include:

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with PE
  • 6+ years of site/civil engineering experience
  • Self-motivated, learning agile and eager to accept increasing responsibilities with an established, respected, growing company
  • Competency with AutoCad Civil 3D
  • Competency with HydroCAD stormwater modeling or other hydrology software
  • Competency with grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, gravity sewers, pump stations, and stormwater BMPs
  • Understanding of local and state permitting including experience with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, stormwater, Site Location of Development, NRPA, as well as local site plan and subdivision permitting is beneficial

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Construction administration experience
  • Experience with project management from inception through construction
  • OSHA training

PROJECT ENGINEER

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design, regulatory design requirements, CAD design, project bidding and construction contract administration. Specific requirements include:

What You Should Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with PE
  • 2+ years of site/civil engineering experience
  • Self-motivated, learning agile and eager to accept increasing responsibilities with an established, respected, growing company

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design, regulatory design requirements, and CAD design. Specific requirements include:

What You Should Have:

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical School Graduate in Computer Aided Drafting & Design or equivalent direct experience.
  • Knowledge of basic civil site design concepts (site layout, grading, drainage, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and learning agile

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Competency with grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater BMPs
  • Construction administration experience
  • OSHA training
