PROJECT MANAGER

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design, regulatory design requirements, CAD design, project bidding and construction contract administration.

Projects will involve engineering tasks such as conceptual planning, zoning review, grading, site layout, stormwater management system design, utility design and erosion and sediment control design and permitting. Interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you’ll impact the entire project from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory permitting and review process, bidding and construction.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with PE
  •  8+/- years of site/civil engineering experience
  •  Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficiency with HydroCAD stormwater modeling or other hydrology software
  • Competency with grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, gravity sewers, pump stations and stormwater BMPs
  • Understanding of local and state permitting including experience with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, stormwater, Site Location of Development, NRPA, as well as local site plan and subdivision permitting is beneficial
