Walsh Engineering Associates, founded by owner Bill Walsh in 2009, is proud to be a Maine-based, locally owned engineering firm that strives to uphold its founding principle: to serve each client’s best interest by providing the utmost commitment and attention to detail in a timely and practical manner.
WEA takes pride in providing complete Civil Engineering consulting services from inception through construction including permitting, design and construction services.
We have, by design, remained a small firm in to be directly involved in every project we undertake. That means that each project receives the attention and commitment our clients expect and deserve, and our extensive list of clients reflects that this philosophy is successful. These include architects, developers, municipalities, schools, and commercial and industrial firms. With such a broad base of clients, we have accumulated a depth and breadth of experience in design and management of projects that has made us the go-to engineering firm in the State of Maine.
Working as a team, WEA’s staff has experience in local, state, and federal permitting, design, project management, construction and oversight. Our office prides itself on being a group of dedicated professionals that excel in seeing project through from inception to completion. Our professional, long-term relationship and respected reputation with regulators allows us to get an early ‘buy in’ with agencies and keeps the projects moving forward and on-track.
