Project Details :
Springvale, Augusta, and Caribou
WEA provided site planning and engineering, construction document preparation, and bidding and construction administration for columbaria, burial vaults, and cremains sites at three Veterans’ cemeteries in Maine. The projects required design and construction documentation in accordance with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) State Cemetery Grants Program and review and compliance with the State of Maine Bureau of General Services requirements with oversight by the VA. Collaboration with subconsultants, such as surveyors, landscape architects, geotechnical services, and a wetland specialist contributed to the successful completion of these important projects.
