The company has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer to join their Westbrook Maine team. We are looking for applicants for 2 positions: those with 0-2 years experience, and 2-4 years experience.<\/p>\n<p>Our office provides a culture that is collaborative and hard-working. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with demonstrated strength in the areas of site development and environmental engineering.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.3&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Project Manager and leadership team to develop data, complete technical analysis, and prepare permitting and construction drawings and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Performance of design and analysis for a variety of projects.<\/li>\n<li>Complete site layout, utility and grading plans, storm water analyses and reports, and site development permits.<\/li>\n<li>Performance of civil and structural engineering analyses and numerical analysis using various computer software programs.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on field observation &amp; inspection of construction activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering, EIT or PE<\/li>\n<li>Competency with AutoCAD Civil 3D<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of storm drainage calculations and modeling and hydrology software (HydroCAD preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Walsh Engineering<\/strong>\u00a0offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
