WEA was responsible for the concept planning, design and construction administration of the O.M. Whipple Columbarium and Garden of Remembrance at the Lowell Cemetery. The Lowell Cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the first garden style cemeteries constructed in the United States. WEA meticulously designed the $2.5 million project with the first ever curved granite walls and curved niche covers that fit perfectly into the historic garden-style cemetery in tandem with Richardson Associates, Inc. (landscape architect).<\/p>\n
