The Arundel Yacht Club is located on the Kennebunk River and has been used as a yacht club since 1957. In a cooperative effort with three surrounding marinas and other environmental and engineering firms, WEA is providing bathymetry, permitting, and coordination with multiple state and federal agencies to provide dredging for the area. WEA wrote a specialized Sampling and Analysis Plan for submission to the Army Corps of Engineers and will submit a NRPA permit to the Maine DEP to allow for mechanically dredging approximately 3,775 cubic yards from the area in front of the yacht club, including in and around the 50 boat slips.<\/p>\n
