The client recently purchased a half-acre lot on a frontal sand dune with the hopes of expanding the existing one-story 1960s era ranch house. Working together with Maine DEP, WEA utilized LD387, which allows expansion of a building over existing impervious areas. Using this exemption, client was able to add an 868 sq ft two-story addition onto the existing house.
