Project Team Walsh Engineering Associates, Inc., Summit Geoengineering Services
Work Scope Walsh Engineering Associates, Inc. provided design and permitting services for a shoreline stabilization of a failed unstable bluff in Brunswick, Maine. Failure of the bluff had deposited 2,000 Cubic yards of material into Maquoit Bay while exposing the residence to future slides. WEA worked closely with the homeowner, Geotechnical Engineer, permitting authorities and Contractor to develop a plan that was executed to stabilize the highly unstable bluff. Permits obtained included local (Conservation Easement, Sketch/Major Final Project Review), State (DEP Tier III NRPA) and Federal (Army Corps of Engineers).
