Our team has extensive experience designing projects to limit shoreline erosion and the effects of human activities. We use natural (living shoreline) and structural methods of stabilization to ensure a functional, yet aesthetic, results. Our site analysis includes wave analysis, flood analysis and overturning as is necessary. We will prepare a feasibility study detailing our recommendations, estimated costs and time frame for completion. To further streamline the process for our clients, we can also handle the bidding process and construction oversight.
Most shoreline stabilization or restoration projects require a permit from the local municipality, the state of Maine or the federal Army Corps of Engineers. The permitting process sometimes includes all three. Our designs will be developed taking into consideration the permitting requirements and will prepare all required permits and details required for your permit application; we will also handle all permitting correspondence.
